SOCIAL MEDIA

Engaging with our audience.

Social media marketing refers to the use of social media platforms to interact with users to build brands, increase sales, and drive website traffic. It is about consistently using the right methods to engage with your target audience, boosting brand awareness and attracting new people to check out your brand.

Our social media brand covers a range of styles designed to attract different target audiences; whether this is to new clients, upselling to existing clients or attracting new members to join our team.

Creating posts.

We have a series of social media templates for different styles of post. Please ensure the new stack of templates is being used to keep consistency when it comes to the following; internal events, speaking slots/exhibitions, people news/press, award nominations/wins – generally anything that isn’t campaign related.

The Verve logo should generally be placed in the bottom right hand corner where possible. The only exception is where a graphic element (ie. a leaf) is used to separate the information – in this case, the logo should be placed appropriately within this area.

Please ensure that typography, margins and alignment are all consistent if you are creating a visual that is not an existing template.

Campaigns.

Our campaign social media posts (usually advertising our services) should be bright, colourful and engaging. It should include a combination of people, technology and typography. It should showcase innovation and achievements from across Verve including; new services, latest technology updates and client testimonials.

Each post should be campaign-specific in style, with bright images or overlays, and bold, impactful typography, making us stand out from the crowd.

Resources.

To encourage engagement with our latest resources, these posts should be bold with a clear call to action.

The style of these visuals will depend on the resource type (whitepaper, webinar, etc). The colours used in each visual should be picked from the resource itself for consistency and recognition.

Blogs and articles.

Our blog posts cover a range of key themes and topics from financial services as well as updates and insights from Verve.

To complement our blog posts, social media visuals should use the same imagery as the website. Blog posts should use stock imagery related to the written content

Events.

These posts will differ in style depending on the type of event. Our regular events such as webinars and masterclasses should use our main brand elements to create bright and eye-catching visuals.

For events such as Evolution, GROW: On Tour and The Devising Centre, these visuals should use their own branding for consistency across marketing. For more information on our event brands, just click here.

Recruitment.

Our recruitment posts, like the rest of our social media, should be bright and colourful, with bold and eye-catching typography from our Internal Comms brand. Where possible, please use photography that shows real team members for transparency.

While the target audience for these posts may be different, we are looking for like-minded individuals who are looking to join the revolution and help us change the face of finance, and the design should reflect this. Recruitment posts may advertise one particular job role, or our vacancies as a whole.
